Abstract

We first performed a test reaction with pyrrolidine as the amine and ethyl diazoacetate, EDA, as the carbene source with four different catalysts [eqn. (2)]. The molar ratio employed was 1∶50∶50 for [cat]∶[EDA]∶[amine].
