Abstract

Methods. Kinetics were measured by adding a stock solution of the benzamidobenzamide in dioxane (50pL, ca. 0.1 mM) on the flattened tip of a glass rod to a solution of KOH (2.5 mL) at the required strength in a silica cell in the thermostated cell compartment of a be-Unicam SPSOO or Perkin-Elmer Lambda 5 spectrophotometer.
