Abstract
Discussion.-The compounds were tested in vitro as antagonists of the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, using Klinger medium and of Escherichia coli, using MacLeod medium. The organisms were inoculated, at the peak of their growth curves, into Klett- Summerson tubes containing standard drug concentrations.
