Abstract: The electroreduction of a series of nonconjugated olefinic ketones in a mixed solvent of methanol and dioxane or in N, N-dimethylformamide gave intramolecular cycloaddition products, namely, cis-l, 2-dialkyl alicyclic tertiary alcohols, in excellent yields.
