Abstract

The synthesis of some N-(o-hydroxyphenyl) benzamides and benzacetamides (2a–2p) in order to determine their in vitro antimicrobial activity against two Gram-positive bacteria, three Gram-negative bacteria and the fungus Candida albicans is described.
