Abstract
The first synthesis of two selenyldeoxycyclitols (4-bromo-2-phenylselenyl conduritol F and 6- phenylselenylconduritol F) is reported via a chemoenzymatic enantioselective route. The key step of the synthesis is the selenolysis of a vinyl epoxide.
