Abstract

Abstract A new chiral benzimidazole-pyrrolidine has been devised, which exhibits excellent activities in aminocatalyzed aldol reactions, leading to aldol products in high yields and enantioselectivities in the presence of an equimolar amount of a Brönsted acid.
