Abstract

A direct and efficient method for the conversion of alkyl aryl ketones to imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines has been developed based on initial formation of a-organosulfonyloxy ketones and their subsequent cyclocondensa- tion by 2-aminopyridines in one-pot conditions. ...
