Abstract

Abstract A synthetic strategy based on tandem application of double Claisen rearrangement and two-directional ring-closing metathesis reaction as key-steps has been developed for the synthesis of various hitherto unknown tri-, tetra-and pentacyclic benzofused bisoxepin and bisoxocin derivatives.
