Abstract

An expedient two-step iterative protocol for the solution-phase elaboration of ethoxyformacetal oligomers is described. A set of four O, S-thioformacetal donor monomers, with diverse chiral side-chains, were coupled using NIS/TfOH activation to afford three model tetramers.
