Abstract

The hydroboration of representative heterocycles an endocyclic double bond with borane- methyl sulfide (BMS), 9-borabicyclo [3.3. 1] nonane (g-BBN), dicyclohexylborane (Chx, BH), and disiamylborane (SiazBH) was inveatigated systematically to establish the optimum conditions for clean and quantitative hydroboration.
