Abstract

Abstract: For the preparation of regioselectively N-substituted indolocarbazole alkaloids two strategies have been employed: 1. the exploitation of different electronic situations at the nitrogen atoms, and 2. the utilization of an orthogonal protecting group strategy that allows regioselective glycoside formation. Keywords: indolecarbazole glycosides; regioselectivity; orthogonal protecting groups; N-glycosylation; PKC inhibitors
