Abstract

Certain disadvantages are inherent in the methods which are available for the preparation of 2-alkylaminoethanols1 RNHCHzCH20H. The reaction of primary amines with ethylene oxide'and with ethylene chlorohydrin2 produces a mixture of mono and dialkylaminoethanols.
