Abstract
The reaction of functionalized diorganozincs with chlorodiorganophosphines provides polyfunctional phosphines in good yields. Especially attractive is the hydroboration/boron- zinc exchange sequence which allows the conversion of functionalized olefins into polyfunctional phosphines in a one-pot procedure.
