Abstract
June20, 195s SIDE-CHAIN ETHYLATION OF AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS 3077 have been studied extensively and are well defined. Little has been reported, however, concerning the relative ease of replacement of benzylic hydrogens by an ethyl group.
