Abstract: Glpc conditions for determining the exact quantities of B-methoxyboracyclanes are established. The hydroboration of a representative series of dienes with borane in the molar ratio of 1: 1 with the diene-to-borane mode of addition is examined by (1) active hydride analyses,(2) ir,(3) glpc analyses of the methanolysis products, and (4) glpc analyses of the oxidation products.
