Abstract
Am (v)= CPkAk (v)(22) k pk are the absorbance and the population, respectively, of the kth isomer, the former being calculated by eq 16. The simulated spectra of n-hexane and n- heptane are compared with the observed spectra in the liquid state at room temperature in Figures 4 and 5, respectively, where the conformers contributing to the intensity of individual simulated bands are shown.
