Abstract

Kinetic investigation of β-phenylethyl arenesulfonates with pyridine in acetonitrile revealed that the rates of these reactions which were lower than those of the reaction of benzyl benzenesulfonate with pyridine in acetone were increased with raising temperatures and pressures.
