Abstract

The reaction between allyltrimethylsilane (1) and 4-phenyl-1, 2, 4-triazoline-3, 5-dione (2) was studied, and the structures of three products were determined by using'H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass spectra. The effects of solvent and temperature on the relative yields of products were studied, and a reaction mechanism involving an ionic intermediate was suggested.
