Abstract
The detection of 29Si nuclei is generally difficult because of their intrinsic weak abundance (4.7%) and to a low gyromagnetic ratio, conferring a relative receptivity being two times higher than for the 13C nuclei. Moreover T1 relaxation times of 29Si nuclei are usually longer (~ 5 s) than those for 1H nuclei. Thus, 1D NMR spectroscopy of 29Si remains time- consuming and low sensitive.
