Abstract

Polymer-supported, palladium-catalyzed cyclization reactions effectively synthesized indolecarboxylates. Palladium-catalyzed carbon-carbon bond-forming reactions of immobilized enaminoesters followed by transesterification yielded indole 2-or 3- carboxylates with various functional groups on the benzene ring.
