Abstract
DA autoreceptor agonist from this group of compounds. It inhibited spontaneous locomotor activity (LMA) in rodents, reversed the y-butyrolactone (GBL) induced accumulation of rat striatal DOPA and inhibited brain DA neuronal firing, all suggestive of direct DA autoreceptor agonist activity.
