Abstract
Reaction of chlorovinylboranes with dimethyl zinc gave the itiethylviiiylboraiies and trivinylborane. disproportionation reaction gave chlorornethylvinylborane. Ultraviolet and nuclear magnetic resoiiance (t1. mr) spectra were observed. Bn approximate linear combination of atomic orbitals-molecular orbital (1. cao-no.) computation was used as a model to correlate the postulated delocalization with some of the physical properties.
