Abstract
During the course of our own work, enantiomerically enriched bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-yl(diphenyl )tin hydrides were prepared using Diels–Alder reactions of (E)-3-triphenylacrylates to assemble the bicyclic nucleus. 11–13 Functional group transformations then led to the preparation of several bicyclo[2.2.1]heptyltin hydrides including the ethers 12–15.
