Abstract
Abstract Peptides with amino-terminal glutamine and their derivatives on treatment with crude papain preparation, containing glutaminyl-tRNA cyclotransferase (EC 2.3. 2.5.), are converted into the corresponding compounds with pyroglutamic acid.
