Abstract

Inorganic–organic hybrid material was formed by [PW11O39] 7− and benzene-1, 3, 5-[tris (phenyl-4-carboxylic acid)] tris (2-trimethyl-ammonium ethyl) ester. This hybrid material behaved as a very effective and selective heterogeneous catalyst for the epoxidation of olefins with hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant. This heterogeneous catalyst could be easily recovered and reused after reaction without loss of activity.
