Abstract

Aromatic hydroxy acids have been attached to a polymeric solid support and the phenolic hydroxy groups have been reacted with a variety of primary and secondary alcohols under the conditions of the Mitsunobu reaction (triphenylphosphine and diethyl azodicarboxylate) in tetrahydrofuran.
