Abstract

From the kinetic equations: and , the following differential equation ensues: k 2 [ArS − ]d[ArSAr] = k 1 [Nu − ]d[ArSAr] − k 2 [ArS − ]d[ArS − ] [1]. Since 0 < [ArS − ] < [ArS − ] fin , equation [1] leads to the following range for [2] in which [Nu − ] is supposed to be constant throughout the experiment and [X] fin corresponds to the concentration of X at the end of the electrolysis. An estimation of can be obtained from equation [2] since (20 mM − [Nu − ] fin ) < [Nu − ] < ...
