Abstract
1, 4-Dihydronicotinamide derivatives covalently bound to NH 2 or SH group of proteins such as reduced keratin (RK), egg white albumin (EWA), and bovine serum albumin (BSA) have been synthesized and subjected to the reductions of α, α, α-trifluoroacetophenone derivatives. Chiral alcohol is obtained in the reaction with 1, 4-dihydronicotinamide modified by the SH group of BSA.
