Abstract
Epoxidation and other" partial cleavage" reactions have long been known as reactions competitive with ozonolysis during ozonation of alkenes, olefins with various other functional groups, and related substances such as allenes and ketenes.'q2 In many cases the epoxide itself is the product, whereas in other cases substances are obtained which could be derived from the epoxide by rearrangement, reactions with other functional groups in the molecule ...
