Abstract
Abstract Some benzotriazoles and related triazole were ADP-ribosylated in the presence of NAD and NAD-nucleo-sidase to give corresponding dinucleotides. The site of ribosylation for these dinucleotides was found exclusively to be N-1 on the basis of their uv and 15 N- nmr spectra, contrasting with N-2 for indazole dinucleotides. The origin of this difference in regiochemical specificity between the triazole and diazole systems is discussed.
