Abstract
The Mannich reaction is a fundamental carbon−carbon bond-forming reaction in organic synthesis, 1 and a variety of nitrogen-containing pharmaceuticals and bioactive molecules such as β-amino acids and β-lactams are synthesized by this reaction.
