Abstract
This paper describes the direct fluorination under many conditions of a number of different types of aliphatic amines Mono-, di-and trimethylamines underwent not only the expected perfluorination, but also simultaneous dealkylation, alkylation and dimerization such that, for example,(CH&NH gave CF~ NFZ,(CF3) nNF.(CF3) & and (CF&N-N (CF3) 2, together with other products.
