Abstract
The effect of a CF3 group on the ionization of the CF3 (CHz), COzH series has been reported in a previous paper'and in a note2; it was found substantially proportional to the square of the distance separating the CFB from the COzH. In the present paper, fluorinated acids with unsaturation in the alpha position have been synthesized and their dissociation constants measured.
