Abstract
(Z)-1-Trimethylsilyl-1-alkenes easily prepared by the hydroboration of the corresponding 1- trimethylsilyl-1-alkynes followed by protonolysis with acetic acid, readily react with dibromoborane-methyl sulfide complex in dichloromethane for 6 h.
