Abstract Iron-doped single-walled carbon nanotubes (Fe/SWCNTs) represent an efficient and new heterogeneous reusable catalyst for the acylation of a variety of alcohols, phenols, carboxylic acids and amines with acid chlorides or acid anhydrides under solvent-free conditions.
