Abstract
Organosilicon compounds containing epoxide groups are of quite recent origin. Martin1 reported the preparation of glycidyl silicon ethers by reaction of glycidol with chlorosilanes in the presence of a hydrogen chloride acceptor (eg, triethylamine).
