Abstract

BINOL-derived N-phosphino sulfoximines have been prepared for the first time and tested as ligands in asymmetric transition metal catalysis. Up to 99% ee was achieved in the Rh- catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of functionalized olefins and up to 66% ee in the Pd- catalyzed allylic alkylation.
