Abstract
The TDA-1 [N (CH2CH2OCH2CH2OCH3) 3] chelating agent is able to complex Grignard reagents. This complexation leads to powders. The preparation is general and the complexes “RMgX/TDA-1” are easily prepared from every type of Grignard reagents. These solids are stable under nitrogen and can be titrated and used as Grignard reagents. The study of their chemical reactivity shows a behaviour comparable to that of conventional ...
