Abstract

Abstract Facile chemoenzymatic syntheses of cytotoxic monoterpenoid indole alkaloids with novel skeletons and multiple chiral centers are described. Synthesis of these alkaloids was achieved by a simple one-step reaction using strictosidine and 12-aza-strictosidine as the key intermediates.
