The preparation of a new monomer, 4, 6-diamino-2-vinyl-s-triazine has been described. The homopolymerization and CO-polymerization of this monomer with methyl vinyl ketone, 2-N, N-dimethylamino-4-vinylpyrimidine and 4-vinylpyrimidine by radical catalysis is described.
