Reactions of nitrosyl fluoride with tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropene, octafluoroisobutene, and octafluoro-2-buterie to give oxazetidines, nitroso compounds, and/or azaalkenes are described. A rationalization of relative reactivities of ant1 direction of addition to fluoroolefins is presented.
