Abstract

Potential oral prodrugs of the antiherpesvirus acyclonucleoside 9-[4-hydroxy-3- (hydroxymethyl) but- 1-yllguanine (1, BRL 39123) have been synthesized and evaluated for bioavailability of 1 in the blood of mice.
