Abstract

The phenoxybenzyl moiety of conventional pyrethroids is a major site of oxidative metabolism in resistant tobacco budworms, Heliothis virescens (F.). In this study, this group was replaced with known P450 monooxygenase-inhibiting or oxidatively blocked groups.
