Abstract

The branching copolymerization of 2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate (HPMA) with either ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) or bisphenol A dimethacrylate (BPDMA) as the branching agent has been carried out using atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) in methanol at 20° C.
