Our laboratory recently reported the development of novel prodrug chemistry for the intracellular delivery of phosphotyrosine mimetics. This chemistry has now been adapted for the synthesis of a prodrug that delivers the nonhydrolyzable difluoromethylphosphonate moiety intracellularly.
