Abstract: The influence of steric hindrance on oxetane formation has been investigated in the photocycloadditions of tram-dicyanoethylene (t-DCE) to norcamphor (Kl), spiro [cyclopropane-1, 7'-norbornan]-2'-one (KZ), and 7, 7-dimethylnorcamphor (K3).
