Abstract

We have previously reported (Cornforth, Hart, Rees, and Stock, 1951) that a commercial surfaceactive agent, the non-ionic" Triton A20"(Rohm and Haas Co., Philadelphia),* has a suppressive effect on experimental tuberculosis in the mouse, and that the effect is shared by a number of similarly constituted products prepared by ourselves.
