Abstract Several novel aromatic ketone-based two-photon initiators containing triple bonds and dialkylamino groups were synthesized and the structure-activity relationships were evaluated. Branched alkyl chains were used at the terminal donor groups to improve the solubility in the multifunctional monomers.
