Abstract

Abstract Unsymmetrically substituted dimethyldiaminosilanes of the general formula SiMe 2 (NR 2)(NR′ 2) have been prepared by treating LiNR 2 with SiMe 2 Cl (NR′ 2)(NR 2, NR′ 2= NMe 2, NC 4 H 8, NHiPr, NHtBu, NHCH 2 CH 2 NMe 2 or NHCH 2 CH 2 OMe).
